Does Flowmate fit my gutters?
Flowmate is designed to fit all residential gutter systems across Australia and New Zealand.
It suits both round (90mm and 100mm) and rectangular (100mm × 75mm and 100mm × 50mm) downpipes, and will fit the standard square and half-round style gutters typically found on most homes.
Each unit is 60mm tall, so you’ll need at least 65mm of clearance between the roofline and downpipe for ease of installation.
How many do I need for full home protection?
One per downpipe.
One downpipe left unprotected can overflow and trigger water damage, mould, and costly repairs — often not covered by insurance.
How easy is it to install?
A simple DIY install!
Position the base plate over the downpipe. The flexible base plate is designed to sit flush within your gutter, whether flat or curved. Insert and lock the dropper of the Flowmate into the base plate. The stainless steel weight keeps Flowmate securely in place. No tradie required.

Easy to fit, although a couple needed trimming to size. Keeps the downpipe open just like a heart stent. Still need to clean gutters, just not as frequently.

Overall it’s a good quality product. Easy enough to install, I had to push back or lift a tile or two to get them to fit into my gutters with only 1 down pipe not having enough room to install unfortunately. Overall , I’d recommend these but makes sure to check the dimensions of them first and check that they will fit between your roof and gutter.

As much as I hate the Coloursteel guttering on our house, I find it about as useful and user friendly as being punched in the face, the addition of a Flowmate on each down pipe has made a massive difference. Now I don’t care if my neighbour’s poplars have dumped half a ton of leaves onto our roof at this time of year, the rain still flows through into our tanks. I’ve tried various other products over the years and was seriously considering replacing the guttering with Marley, which is easier to clean out and maintain. No need now 😁

Haven't had much rain atm for a true review...seems as though it should work, but doesn't fit all gutters that have more overhanging of corrugated iron

Such a wonderful invention, got placed one day before a couple of days heavy rain, water flowed well, and I have gum tree that sheds leaves like it's life depends on it. So gutters are always full of gum leaves.

It works fantastically we have just had a lot of rain recently we have a snow pear right near the gutter and it works so well, I truly wasn't sure. When we can afford to I need to purchase 2 more, but I'm currently not working so will have to wait. Thank you for a great product.

I purchased one Flowmate to test its efficiency as so many other solutions are out there and I have tried quite a few. I had my gutters professionally cleaned prior to me installing the Flowmate, and 3 months later it is working great. No overflowing after heavy downpours even when there is some debris in the gutter. The other gutter is not working as efficiently, so I will be purchasing more Flowmates to cover all guttering on the house.
