  1. Cut Plate to Fit Downspout Opening: Our unique design allows for easy customization to fit your gutter system perfectly. Simply cut the plate with scissors or a similar tool to fit into the bottom of your gutter, ensuring overlap of the downspout opening for optimal performance.
  2. Attach Plate to Your Flowmate: Snap the plate onto the Flowmate, ensuring that the four buttons on the bottom of the plate are facing towards the bottom of the gutter. These buttons are strategically designed to elevate the plate and Flowmate, allowing water to flow freely without obstruction.
  3. Install Flowmate and Plate into Downspout Opening: Place the Flowmate into the downspout opening. The specially designed weight inside the Flowmate prevents floating and limits movement, ensuring stability and effectiveness. No additional steps are required for installation.

While Flowmate is designed to keep rainwater flowing smoothly, regular maintenance is essential to ensure continuous performance. Here are some tips for optimal results:

  • Regular Cleaning: Clean your gutters regularly to prevent debris buildup.

Warning: If your downspouts or downward drains are clogged with debris, it can affect the performance of Flowmate. In such cases, clear out the debris to restore proper water flow.
